Bogrim Mobile II in Bristol 2011

Marom Bristol at the Middle East Peace Orchestra

Bristol has an active, diverse and quite alternative Jewish student community supported by an excellent Jsoc and wonderful chaplains. There is also a large Marom group of approximately 15-25 people!

J-soc events are run throughout the week ranging from delicious Friday night meals, to girls night in to our own Maccabi Clifton Football team. Bristol attracts lots of interesting speakers representing all types of Judaism. The Jewish community is very diverse with a real mixture of Jews. On Friday nights a traditional and alternative services take place. Most events are held in the Ark and Dove, our exceptionally plush student centre, kitted out with everything you need and more! The Jsoc is vibrant; it is there for all the needs of Jewish students and is growing at an incredible rate.

There is a local Orthodox and Liberal community, but no Masorti shul.
